Rental terms

Welcome to Alcars! Before making a reservation with us, please take a moment to review our rental terms and conditions outlined below:

1. Rental Requirements:

• Renters must be at least 21 years old (age may vary by location) and possess a valid driver’s license.

2. Booking and Payment:

• Reservations can be made online through our website or by contacting our customer service team. Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD). The rental price and any additional charges are confirmed before you complete your booking.

3. Cancellation and Modification:

• Free cancellation: cancel at least 48 hours before the confirmed pickup date and time to receive a full refund of any rental amount prepaid.
• Late cancellation or no-show: if you cancel less than 48 hours before pickup, or do not collect the vehicle without cancelling, the cancellation charge is one day of rental at your confirmed daily rate, capped at the total rental price. Any prepaid rental amount above this charge will be refunded.
• To cancel, contact us on WhatsApp at +212 662 215 158 or email contact@alcars.ma with your booking reference, name and pickup date. The deadline is based on the time we receive your request and the local time at the pickup location in Morocco.
• This cancellation policy applies to bookings confirmed on or after 22 October 2026. Earlier bookings retain the cancellation conditions provided when they were confirmed.
• Modifications to your reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Rental Period:

• Rental periods are calculated on a 24-hour basis, with a grace period of up to 4 hours.

5. Insurance Coverage:

• Your booking confirmation and rental agreement specify the insurance included for your vehicle. Before confirming, review the cover, any excess and exclusions with our team.
• Ask our team whether additional insurance options are available for your vehicle and what they cost.

6. Fuel Policy:

• Vehicles should be returned with the same level of fuel as when collected.
• Pre-purchase fuel options are available for added convenience.

7. Additional Services:

• Optional extras such as GPS navigation, child seats, and insurance upgrades are available for an extra fee.
• Please request any additional services at the time of booking to ensure availability.

8. Driving Restrictions:

• Renters are responsible for complying with all local traffic laws and regulations.
• Vehicles are not permitted for use in off-road conditions or for commercial purposes unless specified otherwise.

9. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:

• Renters should notify Alcars immediately in the event of any mechanical issues or accidents.
• Routine maintenance and repairs will be performed by authorized service providers at no additional cost to the renter.

10. Returns and Inspections:

• Vehicles should be returned to the designated location at the end of the rental period.
• A post-rental inspection will be conducted to assess for any damages or discrepancies.

11. Liability:

• Renters are liable for any damages or losses incurred during the rental period, including but not limited to accidents, theft, and vandalism.
• Please refer to your rental agreement for a complete overview of your rights and responsibilities.
